  • The Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians gave about 5,000 toys at its 12th Soboba Gives Back event, held on Dec. 8 at Soboba Springs Golf Course and Dec. 10 at Tahquitz High School in the San Jacinto Valley, with volunteers and a new partner (Beaumont Walmart) supporting local nonprofits.  Valley News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Hamilton High School has received a $20,000 donation from the Cahuilla Band of Indians to support academic, athletic, and cultural programs, reflecting the tribe’s long tradition of community support.  Valley News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Temecula FC swept the Raul Briones Cup group stage with a 4-1 win over Problems FC in Long Beach on Dec. 20 + the win gives them home field advantage for knockout rounds with an away match in late January and a home match in early February.  Valley News
