- ➤ The Murrieta Valley Unified Board of Education appointed Josefine Hartley as Trustee for Trustee Area 3, filling the vacancy left by Yvonne Muñoz (who resigned effective September 15). Hartley’s provisional 12-month term will be decided in November 2026 following a Special Meeting held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 28 where the Board interviewed 10 candidates. Valley News

- ➤ Graybill Medical Group regained its independence as a physician-owned group on November 11 after a months-long split from Palomar Health following a 2024 cyberattack — it is now accepting new patients to serve the region. Valley News
