- ➤ Murrieta driver Edward Finger ended the Pure Stocks season with a main event win on Oct 25 at Barona Speedway by using a borrowed car after his 1979 Chevrolet Caprice Classic had motor problems on Sept 27—he later sold his own car to plan a move to a different division in 2026. His teammate Robby Norris split time between studying motorsports engineering at Purdue and his family home in Julian. Valley News
