- ➤ The Jojoba Hills SKP Resort's Annual Community Yard Sale is scheduled for Oct. 17 through Oct. 19 and will run daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event features donations from resort residents by 300 families—continuing a tradition that started in 1996. Valley News

- ➤ The Murrieta Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on October 22 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 1 Town Square to review a plan that subdivides 5.08 acres into two parcels—one measuring 1.63 acres and the other 3.45 acres—with Neighborhood Commercial zoning and an environmental exemption; residents may submit written comments or attend to speak at the meeting.
