On July 29, the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District declared a portion of a Murrieta Creek parcel surplus after a 5-0 board vote.
The Eastern Municipal Water District will acquire the just-under-half-acre land—located between Jefferson Avenue and Diaz Road—to relocate and upgrade its lift station.
