- ➤ Murrieta started its $15 million road widening project on Murrieta Hot Springs Road on Monday, Aug. 11 to ease congestion between Margarita Road and Winchester Road. The project adds one lane in each direction for a total of six lanes with new sidewalks and bike lanes to improve safety and east to west access. Valley News
