  • The Murrieta City Council approved a design contract on July 1 — a 4-0 vote set the $174,129 contract with TR Design Group, Inc. and authorized total spending of $200,248 to fund the remodeling of Fire Station 1 to update its aging infrastructure and deferred maintenance.  Valley News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Kaiser Permanente Southern California announced that its Summer EBT program—also known as SUN Bucks—is now available to eligible families, providing $120 per school-aged child to help buy groceries during the summer. The program aims to ease food insecurity as school cafeterias close for the break.  Valley News
