  • Riverside County Department of Animal Services will host a free microchip + vaccination clinic on Sunday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all four shelters to help lower pet loss during the busy Fourth of July weekend + county officials encourage Riverside pet owners to take advantage of the service.  Valley News

  • Matthew Bilby from Murrieta graduated with Distinction with an MBA from Stanislaus State during the 65th commencement ceremonies at the University Amphitheatre on the Turlock campus—he was one of over 3,000 degree candidates honored.  Valley News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Edward Finger, a Vista Murrieta High graduate, returned to racing after his engagement and won both his heat race and the Pure Stocks main event on June 7 at Barona Speedway. He proposed to fiancée Savannah Armenta in Gatlinburg on May 19 after 4 1/2 years of dating—marking a special new start for the couple.  Valley News
