GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ California Oaks Road will be closed from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 for Murrieta’s 34th Annual Birthday Bash featuring vendors, food, interactive zones for kids, live music and fireworks. Murrieta Hot Springs Road will soon widen from four to six lanes between Margarita Road and Winchester Road—while the Jefferson Improvement Project will install a one-mile pipeline and two interconnections along Jefferson Avenue to improve traffic flow. He finished his senior season with a 9-1 record and a 0.37 ERA and now plans to attend Vanderbilt, with local fans excited for his future. Valley News
