GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Murrieta, in cooperation with Caltrans District 8, Riverside County and the City of Menifee, has made the Draft Environmental Assessment for the I-215 and Keller Road interchange project available for review at City Hall (1 Town Square) from June 13 to July 29, with written comments accepted until 5:00 p.m. on July 29. An open forum will be held on July 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers to discuss the project. City of Murrieta
- ➤ On May 20, the County of Riverside approved the French Valley Airport air traffic control tower project along with its environmental documentation—covering cultural resource checks, diesel backup power, and noise studies—but construction will not start until funding is secured. Valley News
- ➤ On May 20, Riverside County Supervisors approved a contract awarding PTM General Engineering Services, Inc. to build a traffic signal at the intersection of Pourroy Road and Rosales Avenue. The vote was unanimous (with a bid of $581,018 raising the project budget from $966,000 to $1,038,000). Valley News
