  • Tony Ault—the longtime journalist, educator, and U.S. Army veteran—passed away on June 5 at age 83 after a nearly 25-year career at Valley News where he brought clear, heartfelt reporting to the community. He is survived by his son and grandson, and his family asked for donations to the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation to honor his legacy.  Valley News

ECONOMY NEWS

  • In May 2025, Murrieta’s Economic Development Department boosted local growth by unveiling a remodeled Albertsons and welcoming new businesses while hosting a Chamber Mixer. They also joined international events like the ICSC Convention in Las Vegas and the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington—where a White House tour took place and plans for the Murrieta Innovation Center’s January ribbon cutting are underway.  City of Murrieta
